How do I start using my IG Online Access?
- Get started in 3 easy steps:
- 1. Verify your identity – make sure you have your client, policy or loan number on hand
  2. Follow the steps to create your online profile
  3. Accept our user agreement

What if I have trouble logging into my account?
- Call us at 1-866-800-7984, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT and a member of our team will be able to help.
How do I make an investment or withdrawal?
- Call us at 1-866-800-7984, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT. We will ask you a couple questions to verify your identity for your protection, and then we will connect you with a licensed Advisor who will assist with investments and withdrawals.
How do I book a meeting with an advisor to discuss my financial goals, work on my Living Plan, or do an annual review of my investments?
- Call us at 1-866-800-7984, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT and we will let you know which appointment times are available for you to meet with a licensed Advisor. We will review upcoming availability with you, so you can select the appointment time that is most convenient for you. We’ll also ask if you prefer a video meeting, or a phone call appointment. You will receive an email confirming your meeting time, and the Advisor will review your details before contacting you at the agreed-upon time. This Advisor will remain your point of contact until your need / inquiry is fully resolved or your IG Living Plan™ is updated.
- For quick advice, you can also try our chat feature where you can text live with a licensed Advisor. Our chat is available when you log into your IG Online Access.
What can I get help on right away and when do I need to book an appointment?
- Immediate help is always available Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CT.
- After verifying your identity for your protection, our Client Relations team can help with:
- - Logging in and understanding IG Online Access or updating your address or contact information
  - Gaining clarity about products and services that are available to IG clients
  - Inquiries about an account balance, product, or account number
- For urgent or transactional needs, we can arrange for a same-day call-back from an IG Wealth Connect Advisor.
- Our licensed Advisors can also be scheduled for a set appointment time to help with more complex requests, like:
- - Opening a new investment account
  - Getting a quote for insurance or a mortgage or gaining a better understanding of how these products fit into your IG Living Plan
  - Changing or discussing your investment preferences or strategy
  - Understanding your current financial situation
  - Reviewing and discussing your IG Living Plan
Who will be helping me with my investments and financial decisions, and what are their qualifications?
- The IG Wealth Connect team currently consists of over 30 licensed Advisors working with clients in every province. Like all IG Advisors, they receive the same financial training and are held to the same professional licensing and compliance standards. They are also passionate about delivering exceptional service and helping you make confident financial decisions.
- IG Wealth Connect Advisors work as a team and specialize in helping clients navigate:
- - Retirement planning and retirement income strategies
  - Government savings programs like Tax Free Savings Account and Education Savings
  - Mortgage and insurance needs
  - Investment decisions
Will I be able to speak with the same advisor every time?
- Our goal is to get you help with the first available Advisor, however, you may end up speaking with the same Advisor on different occasions. Rest assured, every advisor will have access to your account information and notes from previous calls to always understand your needs.
Are meetings conducted over the phone or via video?
- When you schedule a meeting with an IG Wealth Connect Advisor for more in-depth planning needs, you can choose to have a phone call or video meeting. IG Wealth Management currently uses Microsoft Teams for video meetings.
What do I do to update or start my IG Living Plan™?
- Simply call our team or engage with us via chat. Let us know that you’d like to start or re-visit your plan. We will send you an email with the information we need about your financial goals and situation to put together or revise your plan. You can then book a meeting with an Advisor at your convenience to go through your plan. That Advisor will remain your point of contact until your plan is created or updated. We recommend that you re-engage us annually to revisit your plan, especially if your goals or financial situation has changed.
Will I still receive invites to IG client events?
- Yes! Clients like you are what makes our IG community so great. To show our appreciation, you will still receive invites to our virtual events and webinars. Each time you receive a marketing-related email from us, you’ll see a link to manage your email preferences. You can check this to ensure you don’t miss out on any of our event invitations.
